Beglov leads the election of the head of St. Petersburg

According to RIA Novosti with reference to this CEC, Beglov is gaining 74.46% of the vote after processing 1.48% of the protocols.

Mikhail Amosov (Civic Platform) is gaining 11.17% of the vote, Nadezhda Tikhonova (Fair Russia) - 12.14%.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister and Chairman of United Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, said the party was satisfied with the results of the elections held on a single voting day.
