Bahrain has filed a complaint with the Arab League against Al-Jazeera after broadcasting a movie in mid-July as part of the "What Is Hidden Great" program, Al Jazeera sources said.

The sources pointed out that the Bahraini complaint against Al Jazeera was submitted to the meeting of foreign ministers scheduled for Tuesday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Cairo.

The "Hidden Greatest" episode, which sparked the ire of Manama, revealed a secret plot coordinated by Bahraini intelligence in 2003 with leaders recruited to al Qaeda to assassinate prominent dissidents.

The program broadcast confidential recordings containing testimonies of the plan's executors, commissioned by Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa.

It is noteworthy that Bahrain is among the four countries of the blockade of Qatar, which placed the closure of the island as one of its 13 conditions to lift the siege.
