But the main reason, according to various leaders of the PP, is the fear that critical barons will see the opportunity to re-mark their own profile and question Casado's ideological course (more liberal and "without complexes" than that of the PP traditional). Or to undermine their moral leadership. "If he manages to get up to 80 deputies, Casado will remain weak," according to PP standards, the sources point out. The regional leader who could most claim a turn to the center is Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
