The newspaper Le Monde makes new revelations on the file of the pharmaceutical firm Bayer. According to the newspaper, 1,475 people were registered by Monsanto in Europe, including parliamentarians, journalists and scientists.

A report commissioned by Bayer and published on Thursday 5 September reveals the extent of the campaign to obtain the renewal of the authorization of glyphosate in the European Union . Strategy that has paid off, because this authorization was renewed in 2017.

After Le Monde's revelations about the existence of a list of 200 French personalities listed by Monsanto, an audit conducted by the law firm Sidley Austin LLP identified 1,475 people in Europe. In France, they include parliamentarians, journalists or scientists.
