It was this spring that the operation "Operation: Save the bees" was started. In all over the country, more than 10,000 rescue efforts have been carried out - such as creating wild bee hotels, attractive flowering meadows and bi-friendly plantings.
- There is incredible commitment around the country after all the bugs about insect death and species extinction. Many people want to help reverse that development, says Karin Lexén, Secretary General of the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation.
