Earlier, Bolton called for not letting the Iranian tanker Adrian Darya 1 unload.

In August, the United States put it on the sanctions list.

On July 4, Royal Marines of Great Britain detained Grace 1 (former tanker. - RT ) off the coast of Gibraltar due to the fact that the vessel allegedly delivered oil to Syria.

An Iranian tanker held for more than a month was only able to leave Gibraltar on August 19.
