According to the decree published on the head of state’s website, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Aleksey Goncharuk, Defense Minister Andrei Zagorodniuk and Verkhovna Rada Speaker Dmitry Razumkov were included in the NSDC staff.
Zelensky also approved the head of the Security Council of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Vadim Priestayko and the Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka in the staff of the National Security and Defense Council.
It is noted that the President of Ukraine removed from the NSDC the ex-head of the Security Council of Ukraine Vasily Gritsak, the former Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, the former Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin, the former Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, the former Speaker of the Rada Andrei Paruby, the former Minister of Justice Pavel Petrenko and the former Minister of Defense Stepan Poltorak.
Earlier, the Ukrainian leader signed a decree appointing the former Minister of Economy of Ukraine as the head of the Ukroboronprom state concern.
