Two Spanish cooperators of the NGO Acción Contra el Hambre have been killed in western Ethiopia , as confirmed by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and for Latin America and the Caribbean, Juan Pablo de Laiglesia .

The two men were killed by a group of unknown men when they returned from an Ethiopian refugee camp, near the border with South Sudan .

The Secretary of State made this announcement at the headquarters of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (Aecid), where he inaugurated an act in homage to the cooperating people.
