Two Palestinians were killed and dozens injured by the Israeli army fire along the eastern border of the Gaza Strip in the 73rd Friday of the marches of return yesterday, which bore the title «Friday protection of the home front».

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the death of Palestinians and the injury of 66 others, including 38 live bullets, by the Israeli occupation.

One of the two martyrs was Ali Sami Ali al-Ashqar, 17, who was shot in the head near al-Awda refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

A Palestinian man was also killed by Israeli gunfire east of Gaza City, and his body was taken to Shifa Hospital for identification.

Israeli soldiers opened fire at thousands of Palestinians who arrived yesterday afternoon in Al-Awda refugee camps to take part in Friday's "Protection of the Home Front" in response to a call from the High Committee for the Marches of Return and Breaking the Siege.
