It is noted that earlier the head physician of the maternity hospital №4 Olga Sharapova denied reports of an outbreak of intrauterine pneumonia in this medical facility. She stated that two children fell ill, but the cases were not related.
“Congenital intrauterine pneumonia, it is not transmitted from child to child, but is transmitted only from mother to child during pregnancy, which generally eliminates the possibility of any outbreak in the institution,” said Sharapova.
Nevskiye Novosti also reported that in the Novgorod region they are conducting a check on the death of a patient in the hospital.
