In Ukraine, announced a record number of tourists visiting Chernobyl

“This year, a new record for attendance in the exclusion zone has already been set - 74,671 tourists in eight months,” the department said.

It is specified that in the exclusion zone 21 routes were approved for visitors, including 13 land, five water and three air.

On August 5, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine announced the detention of six stalkers trying to get into the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
