The rider and riding archer Jimmie Bergkvist give an instruction of the sport of archery riding on his yard outside Kallinge, before the reporter swings up in the saddle. It is a dangerous sport that involves many risks, both for the rider and for the horse.
Reporter Cajsa Bengtsson first learns to handle the bow standing on the ground. Then she gets up on the horse Mick, and gets to test shoot. However, not in full gallop as Jimmie is used to doing, but in a safe step.
- You are one of the few that we actually release on the horse without training, which we usually do not at all. But I think you did well anyway, says Jimmie Bergkvist.
