A neighbor of Castellfort (Castellón) has died as a result of meningitis that he contracted after being bitten by a fox last weekend in the vicinity of this small town in Castellón.
According to sources from the Ministry of Health, the man suffered a bacterial infection after being bitten by the animal.
The deterioration of his state of health motivated his transfer to the General Hospital of Castellón , whose specialists have confirmed that the death was due to the mentioned bite.
