Elderly extra vulnerable to sexual harassment

"Elderly people are doubly vulnerable because they have a circumstance of life that makes them difficult to protect themselves against sexual harassment," says Katarina Björkgren of the Gender Equality Authority.

The agency, along with several other actors, noticed on Friday, in Angered in Gothenburg, the groups that are extra vulnerable in life and hence less protected against sexual harassment, such as abusers, people with functional impairments, the elderly and prostitutes.

It is part of an art exhibition called Draw the line, and seminars are taking place in the district of Angered during the month of September which once again highlights the #metoo movement.
