Karam Jalal Al Balooshi, Director of Fujairah Air Navigation Services, affiliated to the Civil Aviation Department of Fujairah, revealed that the Emiratization rate at Fujairah Airport has reached 40% this year and is expected to exceed 80% in the next year (2020). To be accredited by the General Authority of Civil Aviation in the United Arab Emirates, Fujairah Air Navigation Services Corporation, the International ATO Certificate, for meeting all international requirements in the training and preparation of air traffic controllers at airports and air navigation service providers worldwide.

Al Balooshi pointed out that Fujairah Air Navigation Services is the second UAE national institution to receive the ATO certificate in a new achievement added to the Emirate of Fujairah. Al-Sharqi, who supports the aviation sector in the emirate of Fujairah by relying on nationals, integrating them into various jobs, and providing training opportunities for each job, is constantly following up.

He confirmed that the accreditation will provide several functions such as air navigation, which include «air traffic controllers and air navigation service providers», but the applicant should not be over 18 years of age, and completed a study for the twelfth grade, in addition to being able to English, and will undergo psychological tests.

He continued: These two jobs are sensitive, due to the high level of responsibility, by ensuring the safety of the Emirate of the Emirate, so will be qualified applicant in the programs and classes and intensive training hours.

Al Balooshi said that obtaining this certificate will give its employees a strong motivation for further work that will contribute to the development of the general revenue in the field of air navigation in the country in general, and in Fujairah in particular.
