Samples taken at the beginning of the week showed elevated values of so-called coliform bacteria in the water. After that, new samples have been taken and the problem remains. Now the municipality has made the decision to chlorinate its water.
Investigations of the water network have been made but show no visible errors. The source of the bacteria is thus unclear. It is now hoped that the chlorine will kill the bacteria.
