The bereaved family of those who died in the war is an exhibition of relics Tokyo Hachioji September 5 14:08

74 years have passed since the end of the war, and as the number of people who know the war has decreased, an exhibition introducing the relics of those who died was started in Hachioji City, Tokyo.

This exhibition was the first time the Hachioji City Bereaved Society had held, and more than 60 items were exhibited at the venue.

Of these, goggles were used by men who died in China when driving military vehicles, which means that their families have kept them safe.

In addition, the tail of the bomb is believed to have been dropped by the Hachioji air raid on August 2, 1945, when approximately 450 people were sacrificed, and remains almost intact.

There was also a booth where talkers of Hachioji air raids spoke as a storyteller at the venue, and people who visited were listening to it.

“I want you to know that many people died in the war and think about the misery and the preciousness of peace,” said Hachioji City Bereaved Family Chairman Kiyoshi Tomita.

This exhibition will be held at "Hachioji City Hall Hachioji Station South Exit General Office" until 8th of this month.
