SVT Västernorrland's reporter meets the man in the yard in Ånge municipality where the police made a strike during the night. Then 80 chickens and geese were killed. And a dog was taken care of on the spot.

- It was a Caucasian oak tree that I had for 13 years. It was called Maja, the man says.

"Nothing wrong with the dogs"

In recent days, the County Administrative Board of Västernorrland and Gävleborg has taken care of over 70 neglected dogs and also killed several dogs, which they considered to be in poor condition.

"There was nothing wrong with the dogs," says the man.

Dead birds in piles

In the yard there is a chicken farm and two hen houses. The man joins and shows around. In the two chicken houses, dead birds remain in piles on the floor. Birds that have been killed by a veterinarian because they were considered dangerous.

- I've had chickens for 43 years and it's been good, he says.

Do not want to participate

- I take it hour by hour. Sambon is in hospital, the chickens are dead and the dogs are gone, he says, shaking his head.

He does not want to be included in the picture, but would like his story to come out as well.
