As the head of government noted, some forms of necessary preparations (suppositories, syrups, solutions) are currently produced only abroad, and manufacturers do not register them in Russia.

“Now the problem is being solved: to arrange until the end of 2023 the release of all the necessary forms in our country to provide children with the right painkillers,” he wrote on Facebook.

He emphasized that he had signed an order to allocate money from the reserve fund for the purchase of necessary medicines.

According to Medvedev, the order will allow the “Moscow Endocrine Plant authorized to import such drugs to quickly purchase and deliver to Russia such drugs as diazepam, phenobarbital, midazolam” in ten dosage forms that are not produced in Russia, as well as clobazam.

Earlier, the government said that by the end of October it is planned to import at least 10 thousand packages of foreign drugs to provide children in need.

The Kremlin noted that it is necessary to find a way out of the situation when Russians are prosecuted for importing potent drugs that are not registered in the country.
