The Zuidas will be closed for more than three days in early November due to work on the Amsterdam Zuid station. The first roof section of the new traveler tunnel will be installed during those days. The closure lasts from Thursday, October 31, 22:00 to Monday, November 4, 5:00.

Both motorists and train travelers must take into account considerable delays, closures and diversions. The delay is expected to be greatest on Friday 1 November. People who have to go to work by car are advised to work at home.

The A10 South is completely closed on the south side. Motorists coming from the A10 West will come across the fence from the De Nieuwe Meer junction in the direction of the A2 and the A10 East. For traffic from the A4 / Schiphol, the A4 and A10 Zuid are close from the Badhoevedorp junction. All traffic is diverted via the A5 and A9. The S109 ramp to the Amstel junction remains open, as does the A10 South and the A4 to Schiphol.

Train traffic was also disrupted during the work days. The trains from, to and via the Amsterdam Zuid and Amsterdam RAI stations do not run. Travelers for these stations have to go via Amsterdam Central Station and take the metro to Amsterdam Zuid and Amsterdam RAI stations.
