Earlier, the general director of the Almaz-Antey concern, Yan Novikov, informed the presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that training the Turkish military in the management of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems would begin on September 1, 2019 and end on January 2, 2020.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that the Turkish authorities may purchase additional S-400 air defense systems from Russia.
