Shortly after midnight, during the night towards Wednesday, the police's regional response force hit an address in a place other than Ludvika. There was found the girl and a man who has now been arrested on suspicion of human cruelty.
"No person was injured in connection with the intervention and their assessment is that the girl in the circumstances is okay," said Tony Quiroga, police officer in charge.
He continues:
- What we mean by that is that there are no visible physical injuries.
The police are very careful with details of the case. The girl should be reunited with her relatives during the night.
She disappeared from her home in Ludvika last Sunday. Volunteers were looking for the girl on Monday. But on Tuesday afternoon, police announced that they were launching a preliminary investigation into human rape.
