The Local Police and the Civil Guard have arrested a woman for allegedly trying to burn another after spraying her with gasoline and stealing her purse while walking with her baby through Vall d'Uixó (Castellón), according to sources from the Benemérita.
The events occurred last Monday, when the detainee sprayed the other woman with gasoline and tried to set her on fire with a lighter . After both struggling, the victim was forced to hand over her purse.
Subsequently, after safeguarding the baby, the victim went to look for the detainee to retrieve the bag and at that time she tried again to set her on fire with the lighter.
The head of the court of First Instance and Instruction number 1 of Nules , acting as a guard, received this detainee on Tuesday and agreed to enter provisional, communicated and without bail. The woman is investigated for the crimes of attempted homicide and robbery with violence , according to sources from the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community.
