The Sharjah Misdemeanor Court has tried a case in which a Gulf national was accused of insulting and assaulting another Arab national, after the complainant refused to give money to the defendant after he damaged his bicycle as a result of an accident between them within the Sharjah Sea.

Details of the incident date back to last July when the victim was on the shore of the Mamzar area in Sharjah on the back of his bike, and while he was inside the sea, there was an accident with him, which shocked the degree of the accused, which led to damage, and then demanded the amount of 15 thousand dirhams, the victim refused to give him the amount What caused the defendant to insult him with inappropriate words such as "curse your father", where the verbal altercations turned into a stampede with hands, and passers-by intervened to prevent the quarrel, and the victim informed the police of the incident, which in turn seized the accused and referred to the judiciary.

The court heard the exile witnesses brought by the defendant, who confirmed that they were on the beach of Mamzar at the time of the incident, where they saw the incident of the two bicycles, and the defendant only demanded the victim for 15 thousand dirhams for the price of the bike that was damaged as a result of the accident that occurred between his bicycle and the victim's bicycle. Because of him, they heard the defendant tell the victim that he would sue him.

Faced with the victim's statements, the victim denied their statements and insisted that the accused accused him of insulting him and pushing him into his hand.
