When 12-year-old Viggo was to ride to school on Monday morning, the tour came to an abrupt end. When he got off the bike to drive it across a pedestrian crossing, he was hit by a motorist.

- I'm getting annoyed and angry. Who is in such a hurry to stop and ask how it went, says dad Richard Ahlén.

A bus stopped for him to go over and then a motorist drove over and did not see Viggo at the crossing. The car was riveted and driven on the front wheel of Viggo's bike.

- He became very sad and cut. Had he not looked to the left one more time and stopped, things could have gone really bad, says Richard.

"Backed and waved a bit"

Viggo managed without physical injuries. The driver in the car did not stop to see what he was doing - something that Viggo's dad reacted strongly to.

- According to Viggo, the car reversed and the person waved a little to then drive on. It makes me annoyed and angry. Who is in such a hurry to stop and ask how it went, says dad Richard Ahlén.

He chose to write a post about the event on social media to encourage others to take it easy in traffic. He hopes more people will take it easy in traffic.

- I don't think Viggo will ride to school for the rest of this week. We should probably push him, says Richard.
