The exhibition "Tutankhamun, the Treasury of the Pharaoh" in Paris has already welcomed more than 1.3 million visitors since its opening on March 23, becoming the most visited exhibition in history in the French capital.

"The number of tickets sold for the exhibition + Toutânkhamon, the Trésor du Pharaon +, which opened on March 23, 2019 at the Grande Halle de la Villette, has exceeded the threshold of 1.3 million, thus surpassing the number of visitors. exhibition + Toutânkhamon and his time + of 1967 which had attracted 1.2 million visitors to the Petit Palais, setting a record which had never been dethroned ", welcomed the organizers of this event Tuesday.

The exhibition is scheduled to close on September 22 and its schedules have been extended with a closing at 10:30 pm (except Friday and Saturday) and midnight (Fridays and Saturdays).

"Tutankhamun, the Pharaoh's Treasury" first left Cairo for Los Angeles, before heading to Paris. She will then go to London and Sydney. The tour is due to end in 2024, with several other stages.

The 150 objects will then join the rest of the permanent collection in the new Egyptian Grand Museum in Cairo.
