PSOE, More Madrid and United We have registered on Tuesday at the Assembly of Madrid the request for the creation of a commission of inquiry on Avalmadrid and its relationship with the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, who would not rule out calling to appear if it goes ahead.

After 10 hours the socialist spokesman, Ángel Gabilondo; his counterpart in Más Madrid, Íñigo Errejón and the spokesperson of United Podemos, Isa Serra, have registered the document to create this parliamentary body.

According to the letter of incorporation, to which Europa Press has had access, the commission will deal with "the alleged irregularities and favor treatment in the concession and subsequent financial monitoring of the operations carried out on loan, credit or guarantees by Avalmadrid (Sociedad de Reciprocal Guarantee) from 2007 to 2008 ".

Its objective is to analyze and, where appropriate, determine the political responsibilities that there were for the alleged irregularities in this period; as well as stipulate a series of recommendations on the actions to be proposed in the Board of Directors of the financial entity those directors proposed by the regional government itself to initiate the civil actions of the claim for damages and prejudices.

The three opposition parliamentary groups have assured that they would not rule out calling Ayuso to appear and that they hope that Citizens do not "block" their implementation , which must be decided at the Madrid Assembly Board.
