Kalba civil defense teams managed to control a fire that broke out with a school bus belonging to the Emirates Transport Agency.
Three students were evacuated without injuries at the start of the school year.
The driver of the bus had evacuated after the three students told him that they felt very warm out of the bottom of the bus, which made him drop the students and inform the competent authorities to ignite the bus as soon as they get off.
An official source in the civil defense in Kalba said that the operating room had received a report at 6:39 am that a school bus had been burned in the Saf area.
He pointed out that the fire brigade moved immediately after the report to the area where the bus was on fire in full and the commander of the bus had evacuated the students.
"The teams put out the fire in a period of two minutes, so as not to fire the neighboring vehicles from the burning bus and then to the houses."
