"I have no details about the driver," says Åsa Willsund, the police spokesperson.
It was shortly after half past two in the afternoon that the police received the alarm about the accident. It was a passenger car that had driven on a moose. According to police, the driver was able to get out of the car and alert the police after the accident.
"The driver had an ice shatter in his eyes and was taken by ambulance to hospital," she says.
The traffic was initially affected as a result of the accident but will flow on now.
