The easy laugh jokes, the traditional cuisine and the recipes for all times of the year are back. Karlos Arguiñano (70), the most television chef, opens his tenth season at the Antena 3 stove and will reappear every day in the kitchen of Spanish homes. He does it with a new space called Karlos Arguiñano's open kitchen , in which he opens the doors to new types of cuisine, without neglecting that of his whole life, his hallmark. To this new bet is added his son, Joseba Arguiñano (34), who will prepare easy dishes for those who are good to eat but who do not have time to cook.

It is not Joseba's first contact in the television field. He was already in charge of two sections in the EITB, the Basque radio television, called Stories to morsels and Getaways with Joseba Arguiñano . Programs in which he proposed plans while touring every weekend numerous towns and villages in the Basque Country and knew the culture, traditions and cuisine of the region. He also presented the Open Kitchen space, the name that his father's new program now bears, along with six other chefs in Nova under the production of Bainet Televisión, also in charge of the space of his father.

Since March of this year, Joseba conducts the Sukaldaria program, a space similar to the previous ones, also in EITB. The pastry chef visits different Basque corners and knows more closely the neighbors of their villages, and above all prepares the most delicious typical dishes. Excursions that he will now combine with his stellar collaboration in his father's new television bet.

Joseba Arguiñano was born in Zarautz in 1985 and is the middle of seven brothers : Eneko, Zigor, Karlos, Martín, Amaia and María Arguiñano Ameztoy. His mother, María Luisa, is a discreet woman . From the age of 15 I worked as a fishmonger and now actively participates in family businesses. Karlos Arguiñano and Luisi - the nickname he affectionately calls her closest circle - married when she was 24 years old.

Joseba as a child dreamed of being a racing driver but finally the genes made his own. His first contact with culinary art was at the Aiala cooking school in Karlos Arguiñano. He later completed his professional training at the Akelarre restaurant in Pedro Subijana, at the prestigious Escribà pastry shop in Barcelona and finally at the French professional confectionery school Thierry Bamas. A discipline he inherited from his aunt Eva Arguiñano. "The one that has most influenced my aunt Eva. When I finished the cooking graduate I liked everything in general, but I started working with her, I saw that I was doing well and I pulled on," Joseba confessed in an interview with the newspaper Deia .

The son of the popular chef has taken the reins of the bakery of the Karlos Arguiñano restaurant in Zarautz. He currently runs his own bakery, JA Zarautz, located in his hometown. A long career that has led him to win the Gastro Talent Award 2018 for the best pastry chef. As a teacher in the field, Arguiñano's son shows his exquisite creations every day on Instagram, where he has about 21,000 followers.
