According to the election timetable, the nomination period for candidates' agents in accordance with the conditions governing this in the executive instructions begins on September 4, while the campaign period for candidates begins on September 8, with the deadline for the withdrawal of candidates on September 15.

The Minister of Health and Community Protection and the Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs and Chairman of the National Elections Commission, Abdulrahman Al Owais, called on the candidates on the final lists to follow the instructions and guidelines for the management of campaigns and electoral programs, and to set goals that are commensurate with the requirements of community members and touch their daily needs. The National Election Commission (NEC) has announced that the Abu Dhabi Emirate Commission for the FNC elections has registered the first violation of the rules of the propaganda campaigns, stipulated in the executive instructions and the timetable for the elections of the FNC 2019, and accordingly the committee issued an ultimatum to the candidate, in accordance with article 59 of the executive instructions.
