The report sent to the Swedish Work Environment Authority shows that the pupil became outgoing and exposed three teachers to abuse.

Two of the teachers were taken to hospitals with head injuries, and one had to seek care at a health center.

Have had to leave the hospital

On Monday, the Head of Education held a reconciliation meeting with staff and principal at the school in question. Both teachers who received hospital care last week have been able to go home, says Carsten Wulf, education manager at Alvesta. However, all affected teachers are on sick leave and the student is suspended from school.

- There are many emotions in this, partly it has been a concern for colleagues and then in relation to work environment and work situation and what is happening there, says Carsten Wulf.

Directed inspection at the school

In addition to the police investigation that is now in progress on serious abuse, both the school itself and the Swedish Work Environment Authority will conduct an investigation. The Swedish Work Environment Authority will also conduct a targeted inspection at the current school in Alvesta at the end of September.

You will then meet employers and safety representatives at the school. If deficiencies are discovered during the inspection, the school will be required to correct them.

- It is positive that they come out and look at it, and that we can get professional help and guidance if we have handled the preventive work well, says Carsten Wulf.

Suspected of serious abuse

The criminal investigation into the student is ongoing and has been taken over by a prosecutor. The boy, who is 15 years old, is suspected of serious abuse.

- You should hear the victims involved, and also obtain documentation of their injuries. Then we have other witnesses to be heard afterwards, says Yvonne Rudinsson, responsible prosecutor.
