The month of August has benefited the audiences of France 2 and France 3, up one year, the Three signing its best month since 2011 out of the Olympics, according to Médiamétrie data published Monday.

La Deux posted an audience share (PDA) of 13.9% over the month (+0.7 points) while the Three gained 0.5 point to 10.1%.

The news has worked well on both channels, the 20H France 2 signing a record for more than 10 years and 19/20 France 3 dominating the hearings on his box.

France 2 also benefited from the success of Fort Boyard, which was celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with a special program, while France 3 was full of viewers with its series La Stagiaire, Commissioner Magellan, Meurtres in Strasbourg and Soupçons.

Adding the particularly high audiences of the Tour de France, France Télévisions channels were the most watched this summer, the group registering a PDA of 31.1% over two months (+2.1 points).

In August, the TF1 channel remains the most watched with a PDA of 19%, down slightly over one year (-0.3 points).

M6, in fourth place, sees its audiences drop 0.4 point to 8.7% but salutes the good scores of its flagship programs Beijing Express (best season with 16% PDA), Love is in the meadow ( 19% of PDA) or his short series In family (best season 15%).

On the rise last month: Arte (+0.1 to 2.7%), RMC Discovery (+0.1 to 2.5%), C8 (+0.2 to 2.5%), NRJ12 (+ 0.2 to 1.5%), the team (+ 0.1 to 1.4%) and Canal + (+ 0.1 to 1.3%).

RMC Découverte has been boosted by the morning "Bourdin Direct", which makes its best month with an audience of 7.7% on average.

August was more difficult for TMC (-0.2 to 2.7%), TFX (-0.2 to 1.8%), Gulli (-0.3 to 1.5%), France 4 (-0 , 1 to 1.7%), 6Ter (-0.1 to 1.8%) or TF1 Series Films (-0.3 to 1.8%).

On the news channel side, BFMTV kept its first place (-0.2 point to 2.1%), followed by LCI (+0.3 points to 0.9%), CNews (0.6%, stable ) and Franceinfo (0.5%, stable).

Audiences in France 5 (3.3%), W9 (2.5%), CStar (1.1%) and RMC Story (1.5%) remained stable.
