“A criminal case has been opened against a man suspected of causing death by negligence to his one-year-old child, on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“causing death by negligence”) ”, - stated in the statement.

According to the investigation, on August 29-30, a resident of the village of Yashalta chemicals treated the grain stored in a barn on the ground floor of the house. On August 31, three children and his wife became ill. A child born in 2018 died on the way to the district hospital, two children are in intensive care in a state of moderate severity.

As noted in the UK, the suspect reliably knew that after treatment with chemicals you can’t enter the room for seven days, but "contrary to the instructions, he allowed his young children and his wife to be in the room."

Earlier, the Ministry of Health of Kalmykia reported that two children hospitalized after chemical poisoning are in serious condition in a hospital. Later, the UK began checking for what happened.
