It is reported by RIA Novosti.

On Polish television, Blaszczak stated that Russia had made a decision because of which Poland had not received post-war reparations from Germany. According to the head of the department, his country was not sovereign in this decision.

Blaschak considers the question of receiving reparations from Germany open. He was pleased with the fact that German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier pleaded guilty of his country to the outbreak of World War II.

“If someone did something bad, he will first admit it,” he said.

Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Bild announced his intention to "bill" Germany for the damage that was caused to Poland during the Second World War.

In turn, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said that the issue of reparations for hostilities is "closed to Germany."
