Brandishing panels dedicated to each of the victims, a hundred demonstrators of the collective #NousToutes, gathered Sunday, September 1, place du Trocadéro in Paris to denounce the "100th feminicide of the year ", while opens Tuesday the" Grenelle of domestic violence ".

After gorging one by one the names of the victims, who were killed by their spouses or ex-spouses, the protesters called for an increase in the budget allocated to the fight against domestic violence.

"We want a billion, not a million," they said in unison. "We would need a billion euros (...) is three times and half less than what cost each year" the violence, said Anais Leleux, a member of the collective.

Sunday evening, the Secretary of State for Equality between women and men, Marlene Schiappa, reacted on CNews, saying, "Do not spit on a million euros saying 'This is not Well, it's less good than ten '(...) "

"We do not talk about such a serious subject," she added, calling "everyone" out of postures.

According to her, "the whole society has to recover from domestic violence".

The feminist activist Caroline de Haas, also a member of #NousToutes, for her part said that "if France decided today, it could radically reduce all the sexual and sexual violence hidden by feminicides." The latter ensures that "many feminicides could have been prevented if there had been no malfunctions."

They are 100.
Murdered because women.
Tonight, with @Nous_Toutes, we named them. We are asking the state to wake up: we need means and public policies to live up to it.

100th feminicide

On Sunday morning, the militant group "Féminicides by journeyman or ex", which counts, counted a new feminicide. The 100th in France since January 1st.

The lifeless body of a woman was discovered during the weekend, under a pile of garbage, in Cagnes-sur-Mer.

In the night from Friday to Saturday, the police of this municipality of the Alpes-Maritimes had received a call to report a "domestic dispute" taking place in a street of the neighborhood where the body was discovered. "We do not know for the moment if there is a link between the two," said a police source.

For the whole of 2018, the Ministry of the Interior had registered 121 feminicides.

[100] Saturday 31/8 in Cagnes (06) the body of a woman was found under a pile of rubbish, "beaten to death".
A resident had alerted the police (located 100m) and reported a "dispute marital" on public roads.

The 100th of the year 2019 took place a few days before the opening on Tuesday at Matignon, of a "Grenelle of domestic violence". Highly anticipated by the invited associations, this one is however conspired by the uninvited feminist activists, who denounce a communication operation.

Caroline De Haas points to the announcement on Thursday, a fund of one million euros to help local associations to fight against domestic violence, while #NousToutes claims a billion euros to combat this scourge.
