Al-Naimi, who invented the first device to produce fresh water from atmospheric humidity, believes that his new invention will help alleviate the water crisis in Qatar and the region.He believes that the extreme moisture that Qatar is exposed to will be the way to produce large quantities of water capable of achieving self-sufficiency shortly.

Al-Naimi's invention went beyond being a new untested experiment, having produced more than one model and high water production capabilities, to receive a number of offers to buy this invention, but he rejected the idea of ​​selling at all, he seeks to apply innovation on the ground in Qatar.

The device, which was invented by Al Nuaimi, produces 12,500 liters of water per day.He pointed out that if thousands of this device were manufactured and distributed to all areas in the country, the country's fresh water production would be sufficient for the population of Qatar without the need to desalinate sea water.

Al-Naimi called in an interview with Al-Jazeera Net to stand with Qatari inventors in all fields and push them to develop, calling for the formation of an association or institution for Qatari inventors, supervised by scientists within the State to develop the performance of these inventors and push them to advance in their research fields so that Qatar is a source of technology They are not imported.

170 awards for one invention
Al Nuaimi's invention won more than thirty gold medals and more than ten gold cups, shields and certificates in addition to diploma and excellence, where the awards received by the invention reached about 170 awards, as a result of his participation in several local, regional and international exhibitions of innovations and inventions.

Al-Naimi was not the only inventor inside the festival.

In the past, camel races depended on the presence of children on camels because of their weight and lack of impact on the speed of camel during the race, but this was putting these children at risk, so Ibrahim created a device called "rugby robot" that works the same child in controlling the camel during the races and pushed To run fast at times and slow at other times.

The three-day Qatari Najah festival was held at the Qatar National Convention Center in the presence of a large audience.It also included the presence of poets, intellectuals, inventors and politicians, to present their experiences to the public by organizing a number of dialogue meetings with Qatari distinguished in all fields.
