The day before, the area of forest fires in Russia, which were actively suppressed, was 37,313 ha.
According to the agency, the most difficult fire situation is observed in the Trans-Baikal Territory, where the area of fires is more than 15 900 ha.
Earlier, the acting head of Rosleskhoz, Mikhail Klinov, said that the economic damage from natural fires since the beginning of 2019 amounted to 7 billion rubles.
