Putin will visit the Irkutsk region on September 2

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday, September 2, will make a working trip to the Irkutsk region, where he will familiarize himself with the course of restoration work after the flood.

“The head of state will also hold a meeting on housing for citizens affected by the flood,” TASS quoted the report as saying.

The Russian president also intends to attend a secondary school in the city of Tulun.

In July, Putin visited Tulun and met with residents affected by the flood.

The president promised to come back to the Irkutsk region to look at the restoration of infrastructure.
