Hurricane Dorian will reach the United States in the coming hours. He moves slowly, but continues to gain power. It has gone into category 4 out of 5 and its winds are blowing at more than 220 km / h now.

According to the latest forecasts, the hurricane has slightly changed its trajectory. It should not hit Florida hard, even though it may cause flooding and severe wind damage. Now Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina should also be affected .

On the spot, the state of emergency was decreed. The inhabitants are preparing in peace, there are no scenes of panic. The inhabitants of these southern states are used to hurricanes. But this situation coincides with an extended weekend. Hundreds of people had to cancel their trips. Weekend sporting events have been canceled or relocated.

For the moment, the authorities have not ordered a mass evacuation. Everything will depend on the evolution of Dorian in the coming hours. If the hurricane continues to strengthen, it could be one of the most violent to hit the south coast.
