01 September 20198.30 After yesterday's clashes and violence, protesters aim to block Hong Kong international airport like two weeks ago, when the sit-in led to the cancellation of around 1,000 flights. According to the South Morning Post, traffic on the road to the airport is congested with long queues of cars and the police are deployed at the bus terminal to prevent protesters from entering the airport. A representative of the airport, with a megaphone, urges the activists to leave.
