“Today, at 12.15, under the grenade and rifle shelling from the armed forces of Ukraine came the operational group of the DPR representative’s office in the JCCC and the OSCE mission observers who arrived at the scene to record the consequences of yesterday’s shelling of the village of Kominternovo,” the DPR representative quoted RIA Novosti as the source.
According to him, the Ukrainian security forces “deliberately opened fire”, despite the fact that a ceasefire had been previously agreed upon and guarantees were received from representatives of Kiev in the JCCC.
Alexander Gayuk, a freelance photojournalist for Russia Today, said he was also in the bombardment area in Kominternovo.
“Yes, we came under fire. The explosion sounded 20-30 meters from us, then they began to work with small arms, ”he said.
Gayuk said that in this connection they had to leave the place of shelling. He specified that there were no victims.
