The man arrested for alleged sexual abuse of a reporter in Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona) is a mosso d'Esquadra, the police body has informed Europa Press, which will open an internal process against the agent.
The suspect was arrested Friday by the Mossos d'Esquadra after the reporter denounced the abuses, allegedly during the castellera day of Sant Fèlix in Vilafranca.
On Friday at noon the victim denounced touching and hours later the Mossos arrested the man, who has passed this Saturday to judicial disposition in the Court of Instruction in functions of guard of Vilafranca.
Catalan police have informed Europa Press that the internal process against the agent will be separate from the judicial investigation.
In several notes on Twitter collected by Europa Press, the complainant has explained that a casteller grabbed her waist and touched her and that a group of people grabbed her to take pictures with her without her wish, and thanked the support received .
