The euphoria of the first two victories in Monaco (3-0) and against Angers (6-0) has already fallen: Lyon conceded a disappointing draw in front of Bordeaux, Saturday (1-1) in its Groupama stadium at the end of a dull match of the 4th day of Ligue 1.

Even worse, the Lyonnais finished for the second time in the week at ten after the exclusion of Thiago Mendes in the 62nd minute.

Tuesday in Montpellier, where OL was beaten (1-0), it was the left-back Youssouf Koné who had been excluded in the second half.

However, things had started pretty well for Lyon which has taken only one point out of six possible this week and which remains provisionally 3rd (7 pts) while Bordeaux climbs to 8th place (5 pts).

Dutchman Memphis Depay gave the advantage to Lyonnais with a cross shot by the left foot that deceived Benoît Costil for his fourth goal of the season, after being alerted on the left wing by Martin Terrier (31).

The latter, like Maxwel Cornet had been tenured in attack by the coach of Lyon, Sylvinho to replace Bertrand Traore and Moussa Dembélé, like the former Angevin Jeff Queen-Adelaïde in the middle instead of Lucas Tousart, for his first match under his new jersey.

In all, the Brazilian technician had made five changes in his starting lineup because Léo Dubois played on the left in place of Youssouf Koné, suspended, while Kenny Tete was playing on the right, at the usual post of Dubois.

These changes did not bring many answers to the game Lyon, already disappointing in Montpellier five days earlier.

- Briand equalizes -

The first period, despite the opening of the score, was quite laborious.

Beyond the goal scored, only Houssem Aouar after piercing the Girondine defense (8) and defender Joachim Andersen who just missed the recovery of a corner played by Memphis (19) were the most dangerous.

And after half-time, the Lyonnais, outnumbered in the last half hour, were only threatening on a free kick from Memphis (70).

At eleven against ten, Bordeaux, previously indigent in the game, have managed to equalize by former Lyon Jimmy Briand who took a shot Nicolas De Preville pushed back by Anthony Lopes (1-1, 67).

In addition to this goal, Bordeaux managed to be a little more dangerous with an attempt by De Preville, stopped by Lopes (74) but OL, during a difficult end of meeting, managed to keep the point of no result.
