31st August 2019He slipped off a path falling for about ten meters, bringing lethal traumas: the young 27-year-old hiker from Pegognaga (MN) who was spending a week's holiday on Lake Garda, released yesterday morning, was found dead alone for an excursion and never returned home: late in the evening the alarm was triggered to the Alpine rescue in Verona.

Towards three o'clock in the morning the discovery of the body, in Rio Mondrago, in the Fumane area: the carabinieri tracked down the young man's car parked at Malga Biancari, then six rescue teams went to the site and began to search the various routes of the area, finding the lifeless body.

The 27-year-old, after leaving in the morning, had sent some photos to his sister with pictures from the paths he traveled.

The alarm to 118 was given by the boy's parents, worried about his failure to return. On arrival of the day, the helicopter of Trento recovered the corpse with the winch, to transfer it to Malga Biancari: with a hearse it was taken to the hospital of Borgo Roma. The rescuers of the Alpine Rescue and Speleological Veneto Speleological Station also took part in the research.
