It was at 00.40 that a motorist reported that it was probably driven by a bear on Lilllsjön outside the Hall in Åre municipality. Because it was dark, the driver did not dare to step out of the car to check if the bear was damaged.
Search hunters were put in and at 06 o'clock on Saturday the bear was found and killed.
No people were injured in the accident.
