Serena Williams, looking for a 24th Grand Slam title to equal Margaret Court's record, easily passed the 3rd round of the US Open on Friday at the expense of Czech Karolina Muchova (44th) 6-3, 6-2 .
"I put a lot of intensity, which is good," commented the American N.8 world.
In the next round, the one who dreams of a 7th trophy at Flushing Meadows will face Croatia's Petra Martic (22).
