The Foreign Minister's hope is to breathe life into the Stockholm agreement on a ceasefire, reports Ekot. Margot Wallström will visit Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Jordan. She will also meet representatives of the UN.

- What we have to adhere to so far is the fragile Stockholm agreement and we feel a special responsibility. We stood host and contributed in different ways and I think we have a great deal of trust with the parties and we believe that it is our responsibility to try to ensure that this agreement is implemented, ”Margot Wallström told Sweden Radio.

New meeting this fall

In addition to the visits of the various parties, Sweden will host a new Yemeni meeting during the UN General Assembly Week this fall.

- We make sure that there is a process that can lead on, says Margot Wallström.
