The 19-year-old man has been arrested since the end of June on suspicion of the murder of a 69-year-old woman in Kil. Only after the arrest did the man deny the criminal charge but admitted murder in connection with the detention hearing.

The forensic psychiatric examination is now complete and according to the statement, the 19-year-old has not committed the suspected act under the influence of a serious mental disorder.

The Forensic Medical Administration also writes that he "does not suffer from a serious mental disorder" and that there is therefore no reason to convict him for forensic psychiatric care.
