Rostrud recalled that this year December 31 will be a working day


The press service of Rostrud reminded that December 31, 2019 will be a working day, and from January 1 to January 8, 2020, Russians expect a weekend.

“This year, December 31 falls on Tuesday, it will be a working day ... Then begins a long period of rest on New Year's holidays: Russians will rest from January 1 to January 8,” TASS reports.

Earlier, Rostrud reminded that November 4 is the Day of National Unity in Russia, so the Russians will be able to rest for three days off in a row.

A member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Svetlana Bessarab in an interview with the FAN appreciated the need for a long weekend.
